The Spine Festival now in its fourth year, sees the arts and literature celebrated across London libraries in February and March. SPINE, a Family Arts Festival with FREE, fun activities and events for children, families and young people will have a variety of events in Lewisham.
Spine 2018 in Lewisham runs from 1st – 10th March and means that two different schools will be treated to a poetry workshop with Erin Bolens and a one-man theatrical performance from the Half MoonTheatre. There will also be stop-frame animation workshops with Valentina Grasso running at three of our libraries, alongside all the ordinary (but really rather extraordinary) film showings, craft clubs, story and rhyme times that libraries offer to families of all sizes.
Lewisham is just one of 15 London Boroughs involved in this
year’s Festival, so be sure to have a look at the official Festival website http://www.spinefestival.com/ to see
what’s happening further afield.
