We were very lucky to have Santa come to visit Lewisham Library for our Baby Bounce session on Tuesday 19th December 2017.
Excited children and their parents in their red hats and Christmas jumpers had started to arrive very early for the special Baby Bounce session. A very jolly Santa arrived at promptly at 11.15 and there were very many children who were happy to see him.
He read “Twas the night before Christmas” and “The Father Christmas Letters” by J.R.R. Tolkien.
Baby Bounce is one of our best attended regular library events. We read a wide range of new books and old favourites as well. The 45 minute sessions combine sensory play with baby friendly rhymes, songs and stories. It is a fun activity for babies and their parents. Babies love stories, nursery rhymes and songs. Our relaxed and friendly Baby Bounce sessions are great ways to introduce your little ones to books, reading and learning. We encourage parents and carers to join in the singing and rhymes too. As well as helping your child's development, it's also a great way for you to meet other parents and carers in the local area.
The sessions are free to attend.
